Steel corrugated pipe, also known as corrugated pipe culvert, refers to a corrugated steel pipe buried under roads and railways for culverts. It is a round steel structure made of corrugated steel plates rolled into or composed of corrugated steel plates. The corrugated structure of the metal corrugated pipe can make the road surface under the culvert bear the load reasonably and distribute the load evenly, and has a certain ability to resist deformation, which can solve the problem of damage to bridge and pipe culvert concrete structures in cold areas (frost heave) in northern China; make the road surface without expansion joints, improve driving comfort; and improve the "step" phenomenon at the junction of soft subsoil structure and embankment, improving driving safety.
